Cotki Nokose Newfoundlands
At Cotki Nokose we have all our Dogs Health tests done before breeding.
We try are best to give our Puppies the best start they can get. We do not have alot of dogs out in a kennel being used just for breeding and we don't have dogs that we just want to make money from.
We are not a commercial breeder or a backyard breeder.
Our Dogs are part of our family and they are not bred every season. We do not always have a Litter each year. If the economy is not in good shape for people to be able to take care of a pup with all the expenses that come with it we skip breeding at that time.
We hate for people and dogs to get attached and then the Dog have to be given up. We breed for Health and tempermant.
We show our dogs and they have their championship. I do not feel you have to show your dog, what is important is that you give the best care and attention to your Dog. That is whats important! We keep limited registration on all our puppies.
My vaccination schedules are a little different than most. After the first year booster we titer our dogs so they are not being over vaccinated. If the titer is low only then are they revaccinated.
Newfoundlands dig in their water bowls and trail it all over the floor, make fluffy balls of hair that float across the hard floor and stick to the carpet, swing their tail and most everything goes flying. Lay right in the way when you’re trying to get things done, make paw marks on the window and doors, and drool all over the truck windows and sides of the truck. Life with a Newf is not exactly clean living. But absolutely a great living.
We will help you and your pup through life. Any time you need us we will be there.
Before you buy that Newfoundland puppy, ask the breeder about health tests through the Orthopedic Foundation For Animals. About their pedigrees on their dogs, then go to the AKC website or the OFA website to check their Facts yourself.
